Working for the Public Good

Since 1967, Vocational Services, Inc. (VSI) has provided employment and other opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. This non-profit organization is supervised by a volunteer board of directors and is accredited by CARF, recognized nationally as the leading organization for measuring such non-profit services.

VSI operates three workshops in metropolitan Kansas City and provides services such as packaging, assembly and printing for some of the area's largest and most exacting corporations. The highly successful Show-Me Animal Products division was established to expand and enhance job-creation efforts with an original product that is sold nationally.
